Plains Indian feather headdress, probably of Sioux manufacture. Bonnet and trailer in red tradecloth with black and white feathers, a buckskin bonnet framed by two beaded circles of leather and hanging lengths of animal hide, feather, skin, and hair. It was brought to Europe in the 19th or 20th century, and used as part of a touring wild west show.
