Soprano trombone in B flat, Hawkes & Son, London, c. 1923. Brass with heavy silver-plate, with two mouthpieces, three tuning shanks, four couplers, original leather and card case with felt lining. Flanges, ferrules and guard deeply embossed with typical Hawkes & Son foliage and floral motifs. Slide fitted with water key and cord to guard against over-extending the slide. Very good condition overall with little wear to plating and very little bruising. Inner slide in good working order.
