Woman's waistcoat from Kracow. Blue wool flannel front-opening waistcoat heavily embroidered along the lower edge, front opening, back panel, around the neck and armholes, with strips of silver-thread trim, ric-rac, and sequins interspersed with orange beads. There are additional red beads at the front. A vertical row of five bunches of brass-coloured metal thread strands to either side of the embroidery at the front, and there is a horizontal row of similar threads towards the lower edge of the back, which is pleated. There is detailing of floral motifs in yellow, green, pink, and brown yarn at the front, and larger areas of similar floral designs on back. It is lined with machine-pattern-woven pale blue and white cotton cloth.
