Front apron formed of two vertical sections of cream undyed loose woven tabby linen cloth, stitched together along the selvedge. Irregularly pleated at the narrow waistband.The lower part is densely embroidered below in two bands in red wool with black details. Above and between the bands embroidered more sparsely with discrete black and red motifs. A strip of machine made lace has been machine stitched along both sides and along the bottom of the apron. Secured by means of plaited cord sewn to each side of the waistband.
