clothing; headscarf

Headscarf formed of two lengths of cream cloth sewn together by hand to form a square. The sides which are not selvedge have been hemmed by hand with very small stitches. At one corner the scarf is embroidered in black and an additional elelemnt has been added formed of a number of lengths of cream yarn bound together in groups and joined tightly together to form a semicircle where they are attached to the corner of the scarf, with the ends left hanging loose below. The embroidred corner would hang at the wearer's back.
