Headscarf formed of a length of handspun handwoven undyed cream linen, embroidered along both selvedges in red wool with black and maroon detailing, and at the ends in denser embroidery in the same colours with additional flecks of yellow wool. The ends, and part way along the sides at the edge of the embroidered end panels, are bound with red flannel stitched on with yellow thread. The extreme ends are finished with fringing formed of lengths of plied red yarn.
