Knitted woollen sock in ribbing, shaped to narrow towards toe, horizontally striped mostly in red and maroon with some cream undyed narrow stripes, patterning also includesmotifs with black elements and yellow flecks. The sole has a different pattern in diagonal stripes in the same colours. A cord of plaited cream and pink extends from a plain undyed cream band at the top of the sock for securing round the calf.
