Waist band. Part of woman’s costume from Tetovo, near Skopje, Macedonia. Waist band in a warp-faced weave, symmetrical about the middle along the warp, with bands of red to each side, each with a double band of black flecks running along the middle, and a central band of black and white arrow shapes with a barely visible green fleck along the middle. At each end the warp ends of the waist band have been divided into two groups, each group being formed into a plait.
