shoulder bag

Shoulder bag formed of two lengths of cotton fabric sewn together. One piece is folded in half and forms the main body of the bag; the other is folded to form the sides of the bag and a shoulder strap, terminating with the warp ends twisted into a fringe. The fabric is of tabby woven brown cotton, with some white vertical stripes. Twined purple and cream band runs along the top opening of the bag and forms tassels to either side of the opening. Supplementary weft pattern below the opening. Karen living on Thai Burma border, Thai side.
