Manuscript of lontar palm leaves between wooden boards, said to contain Tantri tales. The text is inscribed in Sanskrit on both sides of each length of squared off lontar leaf, and lamp black has been rubbed into the incsisions to make the text legible. Each leaf has three holes, one in the middle and one at each end. A length of string ruins through the central hole and is used to secure the manuscript. A Chinese type coin with a square hole at the centre is attached to each end of the string. The wooden boards are undecorated.
