shadow puppet

Shadow puppet made of carved and painted leather. Possibly represents Gatotkaca, though the dalang referred to him as Megawama, Bima's son. His skin is painted dark bluish grey. He has round eyes and a round nose, signifying his fiery character. His hair is in apit urang (pinching shrimp) style, curving upwards at front and back.
