Shadow puppet of Rahwana, king of Alengka, made of carved and painted leather. He wears a large crown, candi agung, with diadem and garuda mungkur behind. He has the whole eye and round nose of the galak/manis type, and his flesh is painted reddish-brown. Rahwana is the character who captures Rama's wife Sita, whose resucue forms the core of the narrative of the Ramayana.
