Rectangular wall hanging of black velvet onto which decorative motifs are couched in gold-coloured metal strips and embellished with sequins. To each side is a peacock, with a plant outside each of these with tendrils which run along the base and flower and vegetal forms extending vertically and across the top. At the centre top is a stylised quatrefoil motif with a scalloped shape to either side and leaf and tendrils below to each side. A border of scrolling vegetal forms is conatined within a straight line as an outer border and a lopped line forming the inner border.
