"Dep-ding-dang" Kading drumstick - 2. One of two drumsticks used to play the kadding; the thin one is kept in the left hand and played towards the upper end of the drum, while the thick one is kept in the right hand and played in the centre of the drum. Percussion instrument used at the ritual Sora dance performance.

This drum stick and its pair are used to play the kading frame drum. It is held in the right hand and strikes the centre of the drum. It plays single beats, while the bamboo stick held in the left hand plays drum rolls.
