hat (clothing: headwear)

Child's hat of black fabric with vertical panel embroidered in many colours above the face and three multi-coloured pompoms aboe. A red wool tassel bound in gree yarn to each side. Circular embroidered ear covers, with a loop extending from the left, a strap from the right. At the back of the top part of the hat is a butterfly motif in applique and embroidery. A flap with applied braiding covers the nape of the neck. Two long blue panels of fabric sewn above the ear covers meet at the nape and hang down behind, ending in points.
