Hat for Sherpa/ porter. Circular hat od dark red woollen fabric with vertical panel of multi-coloured fabric woiven with weft stripes and supplementary weft patterning arranged so that the stripes are vertical. This panel is attached to three quarters of the circumference of the crown, its edges bound in black fabric, as is the rear quarter of the hat itself. A narrow strip of the panel fabric sewn veryically to the back of the hat.
