A miniature violin with bow and case. For inscriptions see part records. Miniature violin. Spruce soundboard and maple back (in one piece). Matching purfling on front and back of body. Ebony tailpiece, fingerboard, button and tuning pegs. Four gut strings. Detachable bridge. Paper label adhered inside body reads: J.A.BAADER & Co./in Mittenwald. Wooden bow with ivory tip, ebony frog with mother of pearl inlay. Leather banding. Tensioning screw missing. Case made of oak with green velvet lining and brass fittings.
