hat (clothing: headwear)

Girl's hat made of green velvet comprising four quarters sewn together, meeting at the centre of the crown. A wide band around the bottom, ending in a narrow black velvet trim. Each quarter has a central embroidered motif of a pink flower in a bunch of green leaves, and the same motif is repeated four times around the band of the hat. The inside of the hat is lined with red cloth sewn with lines of black thread.
