Grass hopper mask. Type of mask used in the 'Dance of the Seven Sins'. This one was fabricated for the art market. A wooden mask carved in the shape of a green grass hopper. The grass hopper has six legs and large silver eyes. At the centre of the mask is a white human face. The face has a witch-like quality, with larger eyes and nose. One leg is broken and detached.
