Tenora, tenor shawm with ribbed wooden pirouette and staple, in fitted leather bound case with three cylindrical metal boxes. Two boxes contain pirouettes on brass staples and one rectangular metal box contains seven spare reeds. Until 1966 the tenore was owned by Don Juan Bosch of San Baudilo del Llobregat, who played it in a Sardana (Catalonian dance) band. In 1966 the tenore was purchased from Don Juan Bosch by a Spanish friend of Dr Jocelyn Morris, from whom the Museum purchased the instrument in 2001.

Until 1966, this instrument belonged to Don Juan Bosch, a Catalan musician based in Barcelona, who played it in a Sardana (Catalonian dance) band.
