A ‘peg’ doll or finger puppet of a woman whose features have been sewn on to a white cloth face in black and red wool. Over the head and shoulders is a black CHYRPY shawl, adorned with ‘protective’ ram’s horns motifs in white and yellow, and in yellow, red and black check. Underneath the CHYRPY is a plain purple headscarf. The puppet wears a purple dress, with a black bib decorated with white leaf-shape motifs and a dark red border. On the skirt of the dress are yellow, black, grey and maroon horizontal bands. The puppet is of coarse cotton cloth, and mounted on a stick wrapped in white cloth.
