Playing sticks (chenda kol) for chenda (cenda) barrel drum made from the wood of the svarnnimali (Mal.) tree, broader at the base tapering to a narrower, angled end.
The drummer rotates the drum stick in a style known as uruttu, when it is held in the right hand.
