White cotton gown for a child in the first weeks of life. it is embroidered with flowers around the neckline and hem, and has lcacework around the sleeves.
Made by the donor's grandmother in 1935. It was originally part of a set of four petticoats and four gowns worn by the donor and her sister as small children.
