Dyed wool samples. Three samples of dyed wool. Three strands of hand spun, dyed wool in red, blue and white. The red is dyed with madder and is pashmina wool for a pile carpet. The blue is for kilim weft. The white is for kilim and carpet warps. Produced by Mehmet Girgic of Konya (see visiting card in historical file), who is a felt maker, dyer and weaver involved in the DOBAG project.
