Man’s pipe, ongmabei. Bowl of bamboo with stem and mouthpiece of a thinner bamboo tube. Appears to be unused.

`A man’s pipe is called Ongmabei.’ `The bowl is made out of rasang bamboo (Bambusa Tulda) two years old.’ `The mouthpiece is made of a thin piece of ramaw bamboo (Melocanna bambusoides).’ Source: N.E.Parry 1932 The Lakhers London: Macmillan, p90.
