A base for a hookah. The main body of the hookah is made from brass, and has a small spout where presumably a pipe would have been affixed. The base has a wide diameter and sits flat. On the base a floral design is carved onto the surface. There is also a label affixed to the base. There are circular grooves on the main body, creating bands of patterning. There is a hole on the top of the base, where the stopper is inserted.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
