A hookah and stopper. The main body of the hookah is made from brass, and has a small spout where presumably a pipe would have been affixed. The base has a wide diameter and sits flat. On the base a floral design is carved onto the surface. There is also a label affixed to the base. There are circular grooves on the main body and also the stopper, creating bands of patterning. The stopper consists of a long piece of wood, attached to a wide and flat piece of wood, upon which a metal spout is attached. Presumably the pipe bowl would have been attached to the spout. A piece of cork is used to create a snug fit for the stopper.
