head veil; headscarf

Cotton head veil or head scarf from Egypt. The scarf is white and triangular in shape. It has a chain of silver cylinder beads running along two edges of the garment, with flower shaped silver sequins in the shape of a tree at the focal point where the two chains meet. There is also a short looped chain of beads in the centre of the edge, opposite the main decorative point.
