skirt

Skirt of machine-printed factory-made cloth with an all over pattern of pink and red flowers and blue flowers with green foliage on a yellow ground. The fabric has been formed into narrow pleats from top to bottom and stitched to a wide red waistband lined with patterned cloth. A narrow cloth tie emerges from one end of the waistband to secure the skirt through a loop at the other side. The lower quarter of the skirt is decorated with applied horizontal bands of braid, each with a white red or green ground.
