Rectangular sample of woven cotton. The textile is secured with overlock stitch at either end. Seemingly from a longer piece of dhaka cloth. The white ground is decorated with stepped diagonals of varying widths in red, orange and black. Four hexagons made from red and orange curved sections around a black centre (2 with 2 stepped sides) are included in 2 of the diagonal bands.
