Rectangular sample of woven, cotton textile. Seemingly from a larger piece of dhaka cloth. The white ground is decorated with bands of alternating red, orange and black stepped triangles. In each band the red and black shapes are facing the opposite way from the orange shapes. These bands are paired with another one where the coloured patterns face opposite ways. Between each pair is a white band which widens into a stepped pattern. In alternate paired bands these either take the place of a red and a black pattern, or two orange patterns. The matched bands are separated by two narrow black bands.
