Mask representing Ganesha, made of moulded and painted clay and papier-mâché. It has a pale ivory complexion, and three eyes. Two of the eyes are protruding from the mask, with a tubular structure. They have black rims above, red rims below, and black eyelashes. The third eye is vertical, with a red tika between the two lower eyes. It has a 'button' nose with five circular painted red ornaments. It has two tusks, which are oval and outlined in black. A red-brown band with black, parallel lines passes in the place of two 'eyebrows', and around the chin to a loop below the right ear. The ears are flat, and are painted in yellow lines. The chin is bulbous and protruding.
The black hair is in looped curls across the forehead, and in tendrils on either side. The headband has three circular faces bordered in brown and yellow. The ogival crown has three hemispheres in black, yellow and brown bands below, and five panels above, each with a 'teardrop' motif with yellow decoration of circles, bands and dots, and a 'question mark' above.
