A copper samovar with a lid and integral fire pit. The main body is shaped like a round, squat jug, with a curved spout. The spout has a flat hinged lid at the end. The lid is attached with a chain to the handle, but this has broken away. On the top of the lid is a smaller hinged lid. At the bottom of the jug, is a fire container which has decorative fretwork and embossed designs. The remains of some un burnt natural fibres remain inside. There are embossed designs of the sides of the jug and the lid. Inside, the chimney used to heat the water can be seen.
