Woman's waistcoat. The “dimie” (peasant cloth) is made of hand-woven wool, which was subsequently beaten on a “piua” (a peasant contraption to beat cloth in water to produce a thicker fabric like felt). It has no sleeves, a square neckline, and fastens down the front with 4 buttons made of leather. The decoration on the front consists of multi-coloured wool circles in black, red, green and blue, set within a black undulating line running top to bottom. In the centre of each circle is a rosette, the petals with feather appliqué in red, green, blue and yellow. A line of embroidered black loops runs from the shoulder to the hem on each side. Armholes and lower edge decorated with stitchung in the same colours as elsewhere. Worn by women.
