A stand for hawks, with two jesses. The stand has broken into two parts, and consists of a wooden pole, in the style of a candlestick, with an embroidered base. The base is held in place with a strip of leather around the rim with brass studs. There is a notched metal bar which is made to fit into the stand. The bar is pointed at one end.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
