cap (clothing: headwear)

Cap made from silk and card, decorated with tinsel. Strip of cardboard with ends stapled together to firm circlet and covered with white artificial silk forms the base of the cap. The crown consists of white artificial silk stretched over the covered cardboard band and decorated with tinselto form floral design. The band is covered almost all the way round with a piece of card cut decoratively and tinselled. At the front of the cap is the word 'MASALLAH' in cutout letters backed with red foil. 'Masallah' = 'God protect you'.
