necklace (neck ornament (personal adornment))

Necklace made of fourteen rows of coloured beads in red, green, blue, white, orange and black. The beads are threaded onto wire and have hide spacers. The necklace has a stiff construction, like a collar, and is joined at the back with wire.
Beaded necklace. Worn everyday above all other beads if not wearing MBORROI (Cr. 14) especially at ceremonies. Necklace made by married women from beads threaded on wire both from the shop. The button is from the hospital (!), the spacers are cowhide. Made by women.
