Lady's informal skirt made of pale blue satin embroidered in the lower part with floral sprays and butterflies in blues, greens and pinks; panels outlined in strips of black satin. Along the hem are embroidered four Buddhist emblems of conch shell, wheel of law, endless knot and umbrella. These alternate with 8 Daoist emblems, fan, castanets, vase, flute, sword, gourd, lotus, bamboo tube and rods, and plants, bamboo, peony, lotus and plum blossom. The skirt is lined with blue silk and has a band of blue cotton at top.
