A fan made of white goose feathers into which the ends of peacock feathers have been set, forming a fringe. The white feathers are decorated with a painted design of flowers in red, blue, green and gold. On the obverse there is a scene of two ladies under a tree in silver, gold, blue, green and red. On the reverse, there is a similar design but without the human figures. The slats are made of thin bone carved in filigree and joined at the base by a metal ring. A green plaited thread loop with endless knot is attached to the metal ring and at the end of the thread are two tassels composed of glass and metal beads and orange and lime-green threads. This object was possibly made for the tourist market.
