Red bridal robe, close fitting round neck with no collar, long enveloping sleeves and a two tiered back. Dragon embroidery in gold thread on red silk satin, with blue clouds motifs. Lined in plain silk. The robe has been slightly altered, to be worn by western person.

At one time belonged to Herbert J Collings, 1883-1958, a magician who performed as a Chinese magician. Collings may have worn this item when performing.
