Mandarin's summer dragon robe made of mauve gauze weave fabric of starched cotton decorated with appliquéd gold thread all over, conventionalised dragon designs front and back. Sleeves are black with hoops of gold thread and cuffs lined in blue pattern-woven silk. The gown is full length to the floor and has openwork brass buttons.
