pendant

Pendant ornament made up of eight shaped elements of embroidered silk cloth in a variety of colours, reinforced with a backing and gradually increasing in width from top to bottom forming a long pendant. The lowest section is in the shape of the head of a 'ruyi' sceptre. Embroidered images include boxing hares. A loop fastening at the narrow upper end would have allowed it to be either attached at the neck or hung from a belt.
