smock

Short smock. Cut from straight pieces of material, gathered around the neck and reinforced by the collar of the smock. Geometrical designs arranged in the front and especially down the sleeves, where the designs are divided into three groups, according to a well-established rule: a) the “altita” just below the shoulder, composed of horizontal rows, b) “incretul” (puckers) at the top of the sleeve, worked in a special style on the back of the material, c) “bratul” (the arm) with isolated designs running down the length of the sleeve. The colour used is lilac. (Purchased cotton thread, gold thread). Length of back 500mm, length of sleeves 850mm.
