Rice plough, beam and foot of wood, metal share. 'It is a very light plow and is used for preparing the rice fields for transplanting the rice. It is tied to one buffalo and when the fields are wet and the water is standing on them plowing is started to puddle the soil. 4 to 6 plowings are required to prepare the soil. The area done per day is about 1/3 to 1/2 acre'.
