Long black wrap-around skirt with a wide calendared waistband. The skirt, made of damask silk, is gathered at intervals and vertical satin strips in two different widths are applied to the background. A wider band of satin is applied to the lower edge and sides. Two natural coloured cotton ties are attached to the waistband.
Acquired with other Chinese clothing, collected by two Presbyterian medical missionaries, Drs. Lyal & Kiercross, in 1902, in Fujian.
