Tankard formed of a number of vertical staves, with a hinged lid and handle, on three feet carved with straight-edged leaf forms. Bands of scrolling vegetal forms are carved around the body as decoration. There are five wooden hoops surrounding the body of the tankard, two in the upper half, and three in the lower half. On the top of the lid is carved vegetal scrolling, with a knob at the centre. The handle has carved geometrical decoration on the outside.
