422.211.2 (single) clarinets with cylindrical bore, with fingerholes

Clarinet in B flat, ebony, silver mounts, ivory linings to sockets. In six sections. Twelve silver keys, round, deeply cupped (salt spoon), mounted in turned blocks and ring. An additional key for B/F sharp, mounted in a saddle, a later addition, has been removed and the hole plugged. Mounts are convex bands with milled edges. Throat register G sharp key for left first finger. Ebony mouthpiece is probably original. Overall length is 65.7 cm. Chipped below cover plate of long E/B key. Stamped: Clementi & Co. London. Patent.
