Clarinet in A flat, boxwood, ivory mounts. In four sections including barrel and mouthpiece. Eleven German silver keys, round, shallow cupped, mounted on pillars. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 31.3 cm. Mouthpiece is of dark brown wood; probably not original. Lacks ivory mount at top of barrel. Ivory mount at top of body broken twice and secured by band. Lacks one pad. Stamped: Simiot et Brelet Lyons (star mark; numbered 56).
