arrow (hunting, fishing & trapping)

Child's arrow from the Hadza people of Lake Eyasi, Tanzania. The arrow is formed of a thin, wooden shaft that has been shaped to a point at one end. The arrow is fletched with Guinea fowl feathers that are dark with white spots, are bound to the shaft. There is a small nock on the end of the arrow.

Used by children to shoot insects, reptiles and other small animals.
