Garter consisting of a band of pieces of bamboo tied into a chain with plant fibre string. At six places lengths of string have been suspended. Three end in cockle shells, and three are strings of Dentalium shells. At the point where the two ends of the band meet there has been suspended a longer bundle of string, each ending in a cockle shell.
